Join us this summer for a great adventure! Vacation Bible School 2015 is Sunday, June 28- Thursday, July 2 from 5:30pm-8:30pm. We start with a kid-friendly dinner to make it easy for families on those busy weeknights. Kids age 3- entering 6th grade are invited! Older youth can serve as volunteers and assistant leaders.
On Sunday December 16th, St. Luke’s children gave their performance of “It wouldn’t be Christmas without…” Following their show and the worship service we all gathered around for hot cocoa, cookies and good fellowship.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of Newtown, Connecticut, especially those who have lost a child. Let us pray for God’s peace to be present with them even the midst of this terrible tragedy.
We will have a moment of prayer for these families during our Blue Christmas Service this evening (Dec. 16, 5pm).

This Sunday, we had a wonderful worship to celebrate our risen Lord. The highlight of the day was the baptism of four children! We are so thankful to welcome these new Christians into our midst and give thanks for God’s action in their lives now and forever. Thanks be to God!
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church is holding Vacation Bible School Sunday, July 31 through Thursday, August 4, 2011. The church will transform into the village of Nazareth as kids learn about life in biblical times. Visit the village marketplace, taste foods of the region, and learn about crafts and games of the times.
Hometown Nazareth is open to kids aged 3 through 6th grade (younger kids may come, but must be accompanied by a parent). Download the registration form and bring it on the first night, or call 540-825-8358.
Join us each night at 5:30 for supper in the fellowship hall, then stay for a visit to Hometown Nazareth! The day’s adventure ends at 8:30 p.m.
